Starting high in the cool alpine forest, this epic 20km ride winds through ancient myrtles, lush ferns, and flowing singletrack that seems to go on forever. It’s a true wilderness adventure — fast, scenic, and packed with character.

One of Tasmania’s most iconic rides, the Bay of Fires Trail takes you from the alpine forests of the Blue Tier all the way to the sparkling coastline of Swimcart Beach. Over 40km of pure adventure — fast descents, flowing singletrack, towering myrtles, and that unforgettable moment when you see the ocean for the first time.

Itinerary –

Depart our depot from 21 Quail St St Helens at 9.30am.
We transport you, your bike and gear in comfort to the top of the Blue Tier. This 40-minute trip will go quickly as you catch glimpses of some of the terrain you will be riding.
Once you have ridden the “Blue Tier Trail” we will meet you at the Weldborough Hotel where you'll have time for some lunch (not included in your shuttle price).
After lunch we will take you back to Poimena for the 42km of the Bay of Fires Trail to ease your digestion!
